One way to keep away troublesome spirits, especially those that lurk in the shadows looking to contaminate unwary passers-by with negative energy, is to take a weekly cleansing bath. If you can’t find time to do this as a weekly ritual, it’s still really worth trying to find time to do it once a month, when the moon is waning.
Adopting this practice will not only help you to keep upbeat, but will ensure that you remain unaffected by negative external influences of all kinds.
This is what you do:
✴ Using a pestle and mortar – if you don’t have one, you can always use a rolling pin and place the ingredients in a plastic bag and crush them that way – mix together some basil, spearmint, sesame seeds and rosemary – about a teaspoonful of each. Add a pinch of flour to the mix, and then add in the juice of three lemons.
✴ Transfer the mixture to a bottle or jar, give it a good shake and refrigerate.
✴ Then simply add three teaspoonfuls of the mix to the water when you take your cleansing bath; Some people like to add in a few drops of blue food coloring. If you prefer, you can use ready prepared anil bluing balls, but I would be wary of using anything that I did not know for certain to be safe, so that’s one to check out and decide for yourself if you feel happy with it.
The added bonus of this bath mixture is that it will invigorate you.
